Meet Tamina Nothhelfer
I provide counselling supervision for both counsellors in training
and experienced professionals. Whether you're just starting out or looking
to build on what you already know, Supervision is intended to help you grow.
You may have just graduated, are looking to build a private practice,
or are currently navigating your training and need someone to support you
in your journey. Maybe you have been working for a while and are making
changes to how you work or your supervisory relationship.
If you are looking for supervision as part of your training program,
please be sure to double-check what your course requires regarding supervision.
Whether you are sure you want to make a change or just exploring your options,
get in touch to find out more about how we might work together.
About Me
I work following an integrative modality, which is something that is also reflected in my supervisory style.
Some of the core modalities I draw on in my practice include Psychodynamic, Person-Centred, Internal Family Systems, and Somatic Therapies.
I also have additional training in CBT and DBT, as well as trauma therapies if this is something you are interested in or use regularly.
My work has spanned across different settings including the NHS, public and private sector, before moving into private practice. Practicing in diverse settings has allowed me to work with a wide client base and my private practice is open to individuals, couples, children and young people, as well as families.
What to Expect
Changing supervisors or making initial enquiries can be hard. Especially if you haven’t done this before, knowing what comes next is key. Here’s some things I do to make this easier for you:
Free introductory calls
If you’re interested and want to learn more, book a free introductory call
These free 15–20-minute meetings allow us to get a chance to get to know each other better, for me to understand more of what you’re looking for and identify how I can support you.
Flexible Session Scheduling
We always start with an initial session for you to get a feel of the supervisory style and if this is the right fit for you.
Supervision can take a weekly or bi-weekly format but can also be adapted flexibly to meet the needs of your life or practice.
